1. {Optional Step} Begin with a base of soft curls or waves…
2. Begin by parting your hair down the middle of your head…
3. Move your hands up the part line about 3 inches from the forehead, and pick up a tiny strand of hair…
4. Divide this section into 3 tiny, even strands and begin a simple braid stitch…
5. After your first simple stitch, begin to add hair only into the strand on side closest to the part line {this creates a Lace Braid}…
6. Continue to braid along the part, towards your face, until you reach your forehead, and then turn the braid so that it follows your hairline down towards your ear…
7. Once you turn the braid, you will then be adding hair into the braid from the front, your forehead side…
8. Continue braiding until you are about 2-3 inches above your ear.
9. Stop adding in hair, and continue braiding the remaining strand using a simple braid…
10. Secure the braid with an elastic, and clip this braid back out of the way using an alligator clip…
11. Repeat Steps #2-8 on the other side of the head…
12. When you are finished with the second braid, wrap both braids of hair around to the back/middle of the head, and secure together with an elastic…
13. Add hairspray or accessory {if desired}.
